Noot was adopted from the LA-SPCA shelter in New Orleans, on Japonica Street.
This shelter was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina, however
all the animals were
saved and taken to other shelters in Texas. There is
a new shelter being built across the
Mississippi River in the Algiers section of New Orleans. If you wish to help
them re-build,
please visit the LA-SPCA web site.
Or, visit a shelter or Humane Society in your area and
you might just find your own "Little Noot".
